| Til tross for den ustabile politiske situasjonen i dagens Irak, kjennetegnet av borgerkrig, terror og sekterisk vold, utgjør Al-Anfal noe unikt ikke bare i irakisk, men også i internasjonal sammenheng. Den representerer en bevisst og nøye planlagt politikk der det tidligere regimet gjennomførte historiens første kjemiske gassangrep mot egne sivile innbyggere. |

On Friday, March 16, the Centre for Studies of Holocaust and Religious Minorities (HL-senteret) in co-operation with The Norwegian Council for the Rights of Kurdish People (RKR) is holding a seminar on the attempted destruction of the Kurds. The seminar will focus on the causes, the events, and the aftermath of the Anfal.
